Harper | Adoption/Newborn | east feliciana parish, LA portrait and lifestyle photographer

Sweet Harper was recently adopted by a loving couple. Her mom and dad went out of state to get their adorable bundle and ran into some paperwork complications while there. Little Harper was a little older than the majority of newborns that I shoot because of how long the paperwork took to complete, but we managed to make it work. ;)

I can't get over how cute these lips are!

Morris Family | east feliciana parish, LA portrait and lifestyle photographer

I don't know why I love you

I just know I can't stop thinking of you
Oh wait, it's 'cause you make me smile
You always make me smile

Kyle Andrews "You Always Make Me Smile"

I have been friends with the Morris family for a while now, so when they asked if I would take their family pictures I couldn't say no!

They are the typical cowboy family. I'm pretty sure that the kids ride better than me. :)

Their dog is very photogenic.

That sunlight!

This little boy loves to rope.

This shoot was perfect! The weather was amazing, the kids where all smiles, and it really helps when your clients are beautiful. ;)

Harvey's | family | east feliciana parish, LA portrait and lifestyle photographer

Even though this shoot was at 6:30 in the evening it was about 95 degrees! We blotted sweat away the entire shoot! The good thing about this shoot though was that this little girl is so stinking cute! She has quite the personality for such a little person, so I had a ball capturing all her many faces.

 (This light is my favorite)

She had a blast playing with these flower-thingys.

Mason James | Birth | east feliciana parish, LA portrait and lifestyle photographer

This was my first live birth to photograph or witness. It was one of the most amazing things that I have ever experienced! It is one thing for someone to tell you about giving birth, but until you have witnessed it you will never know how real, raw, and utterly amaze-ing it is. To see the pain, tears, and praying that happens to the parents before the birth is so humbling. To know that our God knitted a little bitty person inside of another, and then He gives it it's first breath is such a breathtaking experience. I was truly awe-struck.
