Brian and Adelyne are some close family friends of ours. We had the shoot at her parents house, they have a big pasture, with a pond, and a barn, needless to say it was very "country" place. It was very overcast and no sun whatsoever, but we made the best of it.

My Favorite

   I don't normally do children's portraits, but this was a favor for a family friend. This shoot was so fun, mostly because I got to coordinate the kids outfits. The kids were so adorable, and cooperated very well to all be under the age of 6.

Elijah-Newborn

  Elijah was the cutest little thing. He wanted to stay awake the whole time, and when he tried to go to sleep he would leave one eye open! The house where I did the shoot had huge windows, so I used all natural light. The family had a bunch of cute props that I used, like a trailer, and a tonka dumpdruck. I want to thank Eli's mom and mine for all the help that they provided during the shoot.

Ranch Rodeo

These are a few pictures from a ranch rodeo in Gonzales. In a ranch rodeo they do things that  (for the most part)  are real-life-every-day stuff that they would normally do on a ranch. Like branding, roping, and trailer loading. Sorry if they are a little "grainy" I had to have a very high shutter speed so that the pictures wouldn't come out blurry.

Horse at Sunset

  My camera came in today! I was so happy when the UPS man dropped it off right before sunset. To test it out, I went to the neighbors pasture and got a couple shots of their horse. I will be posting pictures more ofen now that I have a camera!

I'm Getting My Camera on Valentine's Day!

  For those of y'all who know me, you know that for the past 2 years I have been saving for a Canon EOS Rebel T2i. That means that I haven't been able to buy those "luxuries" items that you would buy normally. I would like to pursue photography as a profession, but to do that I have to have a camera!This is going to sound like a speech someone would give after receiving an award, but to me this is an award. I would like to thank all my friends and family for having faith in me. I'm so blessed to have a church family that believes in me, and keeps having babies for me to practice on. :) I happy to say that I have a family that loves me, and works every day to help me pursue my dream. God knew what he was doing when he gave me a professional photographer to guide me in the right direction. Last but absolutely not least, I'm thankful to have a friend that brings me back down to earth when I my mind wanders :)  I will be getting my camera on Valentine's Day! Thanks Again!

I was sitting in the car in the parking lot...then BAM! I see this. Maybe I'm crazy for wanting to take a picture of garage doors, but I love the colors and the reflection from the water.
